Dog licenses need to be obtained for all dogs over 3 months old. We will need a current rabies certificate and neutering/spaying certificate if applicable. The cost is $10.00 or $7.50 for a fixed animal or a puppy under 8 months old. Senior's over 65 get one dog licenses for a fee of $2.00. Dog licenses are renewable by April 30th every year. We send out reminder post cards in May as May is a grace period. Beginning on June first, dog owners will be charged $1.00 per month as a late fee. In July all unlicensed dogs will incur a $25.00 fine and possibly the cost of serving the fines. |
