Special State Primary to Elect a State Representative: Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at the Plaistow Library from 7am -7pm. Absentee ballots are now available.
Special State General Election: Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at the Plaistow Library from 7am – 7pm.
Dates for March 2010 Town Meeting/Election
November 9, 2009: First day to accept petitions to amend a zoning ordinance.
December 9, 2009: Last day to accept petitions to amend zoning ordinance.
December 28, 2009: Last day to post and publish notice for first hearing on proposed adoption or amendment of zoning ordinance.
January 5, 2010: Last day to hold first public hearing on adoption or amendment of zoning ordinance.
January 12, 2010: Last day to post notice of January 19 public hearing on annual budget.
January 12, 2010: Last day for voters to petition selectmen to include an article in the town meeting warrant.
January 19, 2010: Supervisors of the Voter Checklist will meet from 7 to 7:30pm to correct the checklist and register new voters.
January 20, 2010: First day to sign up to run for a Town Office on the March 9, 2010 election.
January 25, 2010: Last day for selectmen to post the warrant and budget with a date and time for the Town Election.
January 29, 2010: Last day to sign up to run for a Town Office.
February 27, 2010: Last day to register at the Town Clerk’s office and be eligible to vote at the Marcy 9, 2010 Election. Supervisors will be open from 7 to7:30pm to register voters.
March 2, 2010: Last day for Selectmen to have the Annual Town Report available.
